Amanfoo regale Radio audience

Wednesday, August 8, 2007

Fun! Fun! Fun! Galore at the studios of Joy FM when Amanfoo stormed the place. As part of the old school reunion, Prempeh College were invited to the studios of Joy Fm to tell of something about their college.

Though the message came very late, Amanfoo were able to organise themselves and went to the premises of Joy fm at 5pm in the evening. The show was to start at 5:30pm with Kwasi Anim Agyei as the host.

Before entering the station, each Amanfoo selected 15 prominent Amanfoo from a print-out from this website which he will mention on the air. The list was endless.
Amanfoo were welocmed to the premises by Stella who call herself an "Amanfowaa." The car park of Joy FM had so many cars than they could count as Amanfoo made their entry. At 5:30pm, the show began with Amanfoo singing the college anthem. The anthem was sung with high spirits that the studio was shaken.

It was then time to mention some prominent old boys of the college and then some flops. The presenter was quick to add that he does not think there is an Amanfoo flop in the world. Mention was made of our distinguished old boys as Amanfoo present had copied and printed out "Amanfoo of Note" from www.prempeh.org. Each of our boys chose 15 old boys to mention.

"It is worth noting that, Prempeh makes Ghana happy," Senior Eben started telling the success stories of Prempeh actors and comedians KSM and Fritz Baffuor.

Amanfoo welcomed
The jingle made by KSM on Prempeh College for Joy Fm was played. It was fantastic. All Amanfoo in the studio roared. Of a fact, mention could not be made of all the prominent Amanfoo Prempeh College has produced so in unison, "if you want to know more about Prempeh College, visit www.prempeh.org" everyone shouted.

Some jokes were given which caused the presenters in the studio who were by then multiplying laughed their heads off. It was time for the Read Wide Quiz on Joy FM. Amanfoo were asked to form as many words as they could withn 60 seconds from the 8 letter word, "outbreak."

23 words were written which made Amanfoo break and set a new record of 89 points as the old record was 78. During the phone-in segment, numerous Amanfoo called in to express their joy and enthusiasm. One old boy was given a birthday present when he called and all Amanfo in the studio sang for him.

Amanfoo on the air
We then told the listening audience that "all Amanfoo love the school more than their wives." Amanfoo callers to the station's phone lines agreed that they loved Prempeh more than their wives. The only exception was one renegade Amanfoo caller, who proclaimed that there is no way he will put Prempeh above his wife.

Some jama songs were also sang and was ended by the school anthem again. Amanfoo will partake in chess, basketball, soccer and soakings competition so we encourage all Amanfoo to call and register.

Prempeh.org will be at the Trade Fair Center. No real Amanfoo should miss out.
