Amanfoo Return to teach at Sofoline

Friday, October 13, 2006

With the absence of the NAGRAT teachers in the classrooms of the Sofoline University, the old boys took upon themselves this morning to teach their juniors. Before that, the Amanfoo took breakfast with the Prempeh College students at the dining hall. It was the Amanfoo from Legon who served the food therefore they did not "crucify" any form ones.

Amanfoo returned to teach
The form ones were really thankful as they have been crucified ever since they came on campus. Let's just say that, today was the day the saviour came. While the food was to be served, one of the old boys took the job of the dining hall prefect by giving out some announcements while the senior housemaster and other masters were there watching the proceedings.

Senior Sadat, who is a muslim, said the prayers which some Amanfoo have forgotten. In case you have forgotten, it goes like this: "Be present at our tables Oh Lord."

After eating, the president of the Amanadehyee Legon branch gave the closing prayers: "We thank you Oh Lord for this meal." It was then that the whole school heard the senior housemaster give an interesting remark, "Senior, why didn't you vie for the position of the dining hall prefect when you were here?"

YAGSS ladies in the classroom
The whole place went agog with everyone laughing their heads off.

The students went to the classrooms while the Amanfoo including the Adehyee who had returned from Tanoso went to their classrooms to teach. While others taught Biology, some were helping the young ones in Economics.

Some Amanfoo were also seen discussing some past questions with the students though the students have already solved those questions themselves. The group later went to YAGSS where they taught the girls and some helped them solve some past questions.

Headmistress Mrs. Ansong was full of smiles when the Prempeh boys entered the "Tanoso University."
